Annual Meeting Presidents Report

March 31, 2021 On behalf of management and staff of Wilmington Police & Fire FCU, I want to say what a pleasure it is to be here with all of you. Because of your trust and involvement. Your credit union is able to thrive and provide many important benefits. Though 2020 has had its challenges.   Our 2020 results illustrate that the Wilmington Police & Fire FCU is a strong, stable, and efficient financial institution. Our member deposits are $11,390,728.98 and total assets $14,002,326.36 Membership at the credit union now stands at 3,746. I am pleased that our loan demand has grown we had a total of 94 new loans totaling $1,312,825.02, and delinquencies remain low. This year an election will not be held as there were 2 vacancies and 2 nominees. The nominees have been verified by the nominating committee according to our bylaws and approved by the Board of Directors. Board Nominees: Robert Fox WPD, Jeffrey Silvers WPD I’d also like to mention, The Credit Unions of Delaware have joined together to aid the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware in their mission to support the needs of Delaware’s youth. In closing, let me express my confidence in the leadership of the Wilmington Police & Fire FCU, the guidance of our board of directors and supervisory committee members and the commitment of the dedicated staff and the support and loyalty of our 3,746 members.
